Studio Notes # 4

This week inside IKU Studio, I’m leaning into everything art and finally launched this website.

Lately, my studio has felt like a sacred cocoon—paint-splattered, full of life and discovery. Healing my drawing and paint wounds from my childhood and just exploring this whole space again.

This season, I’m working quietly but deeply on something new: my upcoming collection. And this time, I’m doing things a little differently.

Yes, I’ll be sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses, process play, and those beautiful in-between moments—but the full reveal? That’s reserved for Decorex.

There’s something powerful about holding space for the unknown, about making art in silence, and letting it speak only when the moment is right. So for now, we’re in the unfolding. In the sketchbooks, the late-night ideas, the shifting forms.

Some days, I’m drawing like I have never stopped. Other days, I’m just showing up, one stroke at a time.

I hope you’ll join me on the journey—one motif at a time.
